Cisco endpoints range from IP phones to web, mobile, and desktop clients. It contains Desk end points, Peripherals, Room end points and IP phones. A variety of endpoints can be used in a Cisco Collaboration deployment. These endpoints range from gateways that support ordinary analog phones in an IP environment to an extensive set of native IP phones offering a range of capabilities. When deploying endpoints, you need to consider several factors, including authentication, upgrades, signaling protocol, Quality of Service (QoS), and so forth.
